To help you prepare for your first visit, we have compiled key information for our practice here. Before bringing in your pet, please be sure to complete our “New Client Registration” form. If you have any other questions, feel free to call us at 515-278-1011 or contact us online.

Please note: We are a walk-in only practice for all services except surgery.

Payment Options

In order to maintain our high standard of service, we require that payment is made at the time services are rendered. We provide estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time for your expected charges.

Pet Insurance

Pet insurance is a great option to make caring for your pet affordable, and ensure that they receive the care they need, when they need it. With Pet Insurance, you pay your veterinarian up front, and then submit a claim to your Pet Insurance company to be reimbursed. To learn more, please visit

Value Vet provides our New Client Form online so that you can fill it out in the comfort of your own home prior to your first appointment. You can download and print the fill-able PDF to complete and bring with you to our hospital.
